The seller promptly emailed me back on a Sunday! I proceeded to purchase, and though the set arrived a day later than expected, it was certainly worth the wait! As described, the set was exactly what I wanted. The fill was evenly distributed, and the smell was almost undetectable! It fluffed up in 1-2 days, and is lovely. I am very happy with this purchase, and plan to order sheets from this seller very soon!

The comforter is pretty fine but very comfortable. So far in washed 3 times in warm water and dried in mid-heat (I know this is not recommended) and nothing changed.
The rest duvet set, sheet set, and pillow set are also comfortable (very soft to the touch). They Also got the same washing treatment (many more time though) and look just as new.
As compared to other products out there in the same quality range, this one is a great seal.

(More customer reviews)I spent weeks searching for a comforter set for my new bed that matches my bedroom decor. After going to store after store, I finally came across this set here at Amazon and thought it was going to be perfect... I was wrong.
On the positive side, The package came much faster than expected. Unfortunately, the delivery speed was the only thing I was pleased with. Now for the cons...
Here's a list of everything I'm unhappy about.
-Sub-par quality: Loose threads and stitching everywhere. Also very light weight
-Texture of comforter is much rougher feeling than expected.
-Silver parts have a bluish-green tint.
-Not nearly as "cushy" as it looks in the picture.
-Much smaller than expected. Queen size comforter barely covers my queen size bed... nothing like the picture.

To sum everything up, I'm very displeased with this comforter set. It's going back as soon as possible.

After contacting the seller (Octorose)- they were extremely uncooperative and after voicing my concerns, they quickly sent a reply email with images attached that show both of the purple comforters (1 lavender and 1 darker purple) as if they have received the same complaint before. I incurred too many costs with this terrible transaction. I paid 35.99 to ship to me, 33.60 to send back and then they charged me a 20% restocking fee = 22.00. So in the end - I do not have the comforter and I spent about $90.00
I highly recommend that everyone think twice before purchasing anything from Octorose - they are POOR business people who struggle to speak or understand english.

(More customer reviews)This comforter is not too heavy, but keeps you warm at night. It almost feels like a pillow of air is on top of you. Wisconsin winters can be pretty cold and this comforter makes the winters more pleasant. We use the comforter all year round because it is so comfy. I gave it 4 stars because we have a Cal-King and wish the comforter would be a little wider to hang down further to the bed skirt. Other than that great investment, I am always cold and husband is always hot and this works for the both of us.

I don't have allergies, but I do have a cat that sleeps with me every night. I feel like this blanket is helping me prevent icky things from making a home in my blankets. I don't think it's be a great blanket without a duvet cover. It's slipper when by itself, constantly fell off my bed... but with my duvet cover, it's love. :3

I really like the smaller Boxes, fits to over sides of bed better than large, and less feather shifting. I have not had to clean it yet.. so jury still out on that. Great buy!!!

This was def a warm blanket but I didn't care to look at the shipping time it took to arrive- almost 20 days... and when you want to be warm in your bed it is difficult to wait that long. However- I'm a happy customer (and warm) and don't think I'll be needing another duvet for a while (could have come with a slip cover but never mind..)

Boxed panels is the ONLY comforter a person should ever buy because all the other designs allow the down to "travel" away from your body in a very short time leaving "cold spots" where down winds up clumping in side channels or pockets which is hard to shake back into their respective and much needed areas! This over-sized comforter fits well into a standard king duvet for anyone who is looking to NOT buy another duvet. I have a custom made duvet that was made to accommodate an eastern king bed which was about 12" (6" extra each side) narrower than the width of this comforter's measurements and I had no problem getting the comforter to fit beautifully inside. Could not be happier and plan to buy another king size for a guest bedroom. You won't be disappointed with this comforter.
