I read on an allergy web site that if you own a pillow for 3 years, something like one third of it's weight is no longer pillow but dead dust mites and their excrement. That's enough to keep you up at nights. But while the lowly pillow is one of the most important keys to sleeping well, finding the right replacement for you is a personal matter and no one product will appeal to everyone. Buying one sight unseen, or unfelt, seems a little risky. I love having real down pillows, but my biggest complaint besides the sometimes mind numbing prices for a firm quality fill is the fact that they can make your head feel like a baked potato from all the heat they retain and it's hard to find one that feels sufficiently firm, if that's what you like as I do. These pillows were highly rated on every review I could find so I sent for some king sized ones here on Amazon who had the best prices, and of course the great return policy in case they were a disappointment. I found them to be well constructed with gusseted ends and surprisingly like my goose down pillows in their softness and comfort but with the feel of just right firmness, at least for my taste. They don't have the head baking heat retention of down so are comfortable, firm and cool. In short, I'm completely satisfied with everything about these pillows and would highly recommend them.

Get the quality of rest you deserve with a Pinzon luxury pillow just right for your needs. This Pyrenees Firm Density Standard pillow, made with 30 total ounces of PrimaLoft filling, offers the right amount of density for healthy neck and spine alignment in those who sleep primarily on their sides. And for sensitive, allergy-prone sleepers who want to enjoy the benefits of down, PrimaLoft offers exactly that. The closest thing to down available in a synthetic fiber, PrimaLoft, The Luxury Down Alternative, has many of down's amazing properties like lightness, warmth, and loft. But PrimaLoft provides fabulous qualities that down doesn't, such as water-repellence, which allows it to dry faster and use less energy. In addition, PrimaLoft is permanently anti-microbial. Topical chemical treatments can wash away with laundering, but PrimaLoft is blended with inherently engineered anti-microbial fibers that do not wash out.
Standard and Queen Buying Guide As a gauge for filling quality, the Pyrenees PrimaLoft pillow has a fill power comparable to what would be 550 in a down pillow. Fill power indicates how many cubic inches of space an ounce of down will occupy, and the higher the fill power, the better the quality. Everything at 500 level and above is high quality. The Pyrenees PrimaLoft pillow will look great in your bedroom as well as perform greatly. PrimaLoft uses Ribbon Fiber Technology that is unique in bedding. It helps bedding maintain a "lofty" look and, when compressed, to quickly regain its loft.
The Pyrenees PrimaLoft pillow comes with a zippered protector made from pure cotton in a 400-thread-count dobby weave. The pillow protector features an attractive varied stripe pattern and is finished with a 1-inch gusset. Both the pillow and its cover are easy and safe to clean at home in the washer and dryer.
The standard-sized Pyrenees pillow measures 20 by 26 inches, and it's also available in queen and king sizes. In addition to firm-density construction, every size of the Pyrenees PrimaLoft pillow is available in a soft-density and a medium-density, each with less total ounces of filling to provide the right support for the sleeping position you favor. Pick the one just right for your needs.
